The rest of November, Thanksgiving, and 7 months old!

Happy Holidays from the Crams! We took advantage of one of the last nice days of fall and took a few family pictures for our Christmas cards a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. I think they turned out pretty good for taking them on my phone.

Our friends the James came and took pictures for us and their little girl Lillie helped make Denver laugh and wanted to get in on a couple pictures with him. Cute kids...

My little Beaver fan. We went down to Eugene to do some shopping this day and so I had to dress him in his Beavers get up when we went down in to duck territory!

Denver was fascinated with all of the Christmas decorations in the stores.

My little man trying to crawl. He wants to move so badly, but he has yet to get completely coordinated.

Micky is a particularly tasty toy.

This kid and his wacky hair. It's getting too long on top to do a mohawk, but I feel bad about cutting it. I don't want to cut his sweet little baby hair!

A wig! The perfect solution!

Welcoming poofy coat weather. My sister Dani got this coat for me on clearance last winter for 2 bucks and I'm so glad she did! It's so warm and cozy, he'll definitely need it when we head to Utah next week.

More wacky hair.

Our happy man loving life. He is generally a very happy guy and we just love his sweet little countenance and the joy he brings to our home.

I was doing laundry one night, and he wanted to play with the laundry basket. Pretty sure he stayed entertained by this for at least 20 minutes. Peek a boo!

Cute man by our Christmas tree in his cozy jammies.

Happy man with his gummy smile. I'm afraid he is starting to teeth on the bottom and I am so going to miss his toothless grin.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...

Happy Thanksgiving! Our delicious bird! I completely failed at taking any pictures while Erik's parents were here over Thanksgiving, but apparently I got a picture of the Turkey...

Denver turned 7 months old at the beginning of December too! Time is going by so fast!

I had to take Denver back for a second dose of the flu shot (because apparently new babies the first time they get the flu shot, they have to get a second round  a month later) but I got a good hour of sleep snuggles and he was perfectly happy when he woke up.

His favorite toy. We have taken the batteries out of this one and he just loves it. At least it keeps him from grabbing the remotes that actually work.

Our house. We decided we needed to put up some lights because hardly anyone in Corvallis has Christmas lights up! In Utah EVERYONE puts up lights, but here maybe one house on each block has lights.

Denver fell asleep in my arms the other night, and Erik got in on some of the snuggles.

A bin of huge soft stuffed animals Denver went nuts over at Fred Meyers.

Look at that hair! I'm at a loss as to what to do with it. Also we got him some overalls and he is adorable in them! They may very well be the only thing I put him in all winter because I love them.

At storybook land looking at the lights and the kids loved looking at the different displays.

At his favorite display, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger too!

6 months old!

Where oh where oh where has the time gone?! I can't believe this tiny little man is half of a year old already. It seems like he just got here, but at the same time it feels like we never had a life without him. He has such a sweet spirit and brightens up our days (and tries to extend that in to the night...)

At his doctor's appointment after weighing in at 18 lbs 11 oz (72nd percentile) this little chunky man was all smiles. He is 26.75'' (54th percentile) and has a big old head in the 80th percentile.

Post-shots. Not so many smiles anymore, but I sure got some good snuggles. It's the only upside when your kids are sick is that you get get some serious snuggle time. Last time he got shots he was miserable and got a fever and cried and really had a hard time so I was prepared for it again this time. However, he was a real trooper and was only down for the morning and after a couple of good naps he was right as rain and all smiles again.

Little bandaid chunky thighs.

After a good nap he seemed a little bit better.

That night we felt really bad about taking him to the doctor and not being able to go get him an ice cream treat or something, so we went to K-mart and got him some new snuggly jammies and some plastic key toys to chew on. I seriously want some of those pajamas, they are the softest ever!

6 month pictures. It is getting harder to take pictures of him, he is so busy!
I'm Denver and I'm 6 months old! I love the theme song to Gilmore Girls. (explanatory story a bit further down) I love to put EVERYTHING in my mouth and I'm quick too. If the parental units look away for a second I can grab things and have it in my mouth before they know it! I still don't like riding in the car, but if you sing to me while you buckle me in I will try to cooperate. I like riding in the grocery cart at the store and looking at everything. I love soft things and giggle and smile when Momma lets me touch them. I LOVE when Daddy comes home and we play and tickle. I am slowly trying to sleep longer in my bed and have done pretty good the last few nights only making Momma get up once or twice. I'm a curious little guy and love to explore my world!

Now, pictures.
Story of our life lately. I don't know how we will ever keep track of his socks...this same sock appeared today (3 days later) at Erik's work, outside on the ground, soaked in rain water (I searched the car for it and have no idea how it fell out there!)

Happy man after I returned his sock.

I love this face.

This is when I knew I needed to be done. He wrecked my photo set so I guess that means it's time to wrap it up! And he looks so innocent!

Everyone probably saw my post on Facebook, but for the grandparents who may not have seen it, this is the Gilmore Girls face. I have been watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix especially when I sit down to nurse Denver. So there is always part of the episode that plays and then they do the theme song and it never fails, every single time it comes on he stops eating and cranes his neck towards the TV to watch and listen to the song.
Another night we went and got food and he fell asleep in his car seat on the way home. We just let him keep sleeping and brought him in the house, sat on the couch, and decided to watch an episode of Gilmore Girls while eating our dinner. We start watching, we talk, we bang things around, and he doesn't budge out of his deep sleep. The song comes on and BAM! His eyes jerk open and he cranes his neck to the TV. He cracks me up.

I LOVE CARROTS! OK, he's yawning, but it looks like an incredibly excited face as well.
