Is it spring?

33 weeks and this baby is begging to get out! He sure is an active little guy. He will respond to almost any stimulation, music, me poking at him, Erik talking to him, me rolling over in my sleep, anything will get him moving around at least for a little bit. We fall more in love every day!

We have had pretty good weather here over the last week or two so we decided grilling season is officially starting! I honestly don't know how we go all winter without the grill we use it every day all summer. On Saturday we did fajita night and grilled everything up it was so delicious! We got to eat it for lunch the next day too and it was just as good the second time around.

We don't have a lot of pictures from the last couple of weeks, Erik is getting ready for prelims on Friday so we have spent a lot of time inside with him studying so nothing too exciting has happened. I can't wait for spring break so he can have a break from all of the work!

34 weeks! Only 6 more to go! I think we are just about ready to meet our little one!

We had a Dr. Appointment today and she couldn't quite figure out which position he was in (he is head down by the way ready to come out!) so she rolled in the ultrasound cart and did a quick little ultrasound to officially identify which part was where. We got this adorable little picture of him I was so excited. He was just sleeping away, but when she started pushing on my belly trying to feel where he was laying he started kicking at her to let her know she was interrupting his nap! He just looks so peaceful in there. Maybe now I can sort of see his face I can decide on a name!

Date night, baby shower, work, and 32 weeks!

Erik and I decided we needed a little break so we decided on a date night down to Eugene after work one day. We went to Olive Garden which was so good but it took them forever to deliver our food the people that got there after us received their food and finished eating before we got ours so they gave us a free dessert which made up for it a bit. We then went over to the mall because we don't have one in Corvallis and did some baby clothes shopping. It's really hard not to buy everything sometimes.

Little outfits we found down at the mall.

31 weeks. I've had horrible back issues lately he's just getting big and so I spend a lot of time on a heating pad to relax the knots in my back at night. Erik takes such good care of me and my ailments he is the best.

One night I decided to get ambitious and make a quick bread recipe my mom sent me. Unfortunately, our house was too cold and it took too long to raise so I got impatient and finally cooked it and then it didn't cook enough so after dumping it out of the pan I had to try and get it back in the pan to finish cooking it was just a disaster. I fail at bread making...

My wonderful visiting teachers and friends threw me a baby shower last weekend. It was so cute and we had a good turn out. They made it nautical themed like our nursery.

A few of the people.

At work last week we had a color correction class where they brought in really messed up mannequin heads that had weird color going on or damaged hair and we were supposed to fix their color and also preserve the integrity of their hair. This was the head I got. Yikes! Surprisingly enough this is the sort of thing we run in to occasionally because of people coloring their hair on their own.

This was my result when I was done. It was a really fun challenge and I got to use different techniques I don't use on a regular basis.

The picture was the color I was supposed to end up with I think I got pretty close!

32 weeks! Getting bigger and bigger. Tomorrow is 33 weeks for me and I can feel it! Can't wait to meet this little guy he is already so fun and we love him so much!
