I hope you like pictures of Denver!

It's been quite the month. We have been sick (several times) and have been incredibly sleep deprived! Poor little Denver is trying to figure out how to sleep again and he's not very good at it. Hopefully it is turning around for the better soon! Pardon the photo dump!

Denver has become very interested in anything we eat, but especially our drink cups. He gets very feisty and he's so strong he can almost rip it out of our hands and eat it.

Pizza and soda...kid after my own heart!

Food all over his face. He loves his baby cereal and slurps it down. He prefers Rice over Oatmeal but after a few bites he'll slurp it down just like anything else. Over the last month he has tried Peas, Carrots, Butternut Squash, and Pears. He loves Peas and Carrots, he nearly threw up the first time he ate squash from gagging, but he likes it pretty good now, and he couldn't figure out how he felt about the pears.

Being silly. Look at those rolls on those thighs!

Denver hasn't figured out he can turn around in his jumper so he just leans as far back as he can to get the toys behind him. Silly boy.

Big boy sitting up all by himself in his dump truck.

First time eating Peas. Yum yum!

After bath cute baby face. He loves bath time. We got him some bath toys this month and he loves them.

We took a trip up Chip Ross and it was so beautiful up there!

What you talkin' about Willace?...

Must've been silly face day...

Sweet boy. He just has the most beautiful little face I'm in love...

Haha Mom, I'm wide awake and happy about it! I don't mind getting up 4 times a night.

Playing in his crib.

Erik got him these rings at Target last week and he loves them. More things to put in his mouth! Also he can sit up like a big boy all by himself.

Hi Mom!

Ready to go to the pumpkin patch! Look at that hair!

Got his pumpkin!

I posted this on Facebook but it makes me laugh so much. Any fabric lately he puts in his mouth and just leaves it there to dangle for a bit.

I was sick yesterday and he was a trooper and entertained himself quite a bit. He looks so big here.

Sitting up all alone. The pillow is just there because sometimes he kicks his legs too enthusiastically and flops backwards pretty hard and I'm afraid he'll bonk his head.

Ready for crawling!

Ready to Trunk or Treat at Church. He was the cutest little lumberjack!

After the first night of sleep where he slept longer than a 3 hour stretch in a long time! He woke up so happy and so did Mom!

Ready for trick or treating.

His 6 month appointment is on Monday so I'll do another update then!

5 months old!

We've had a lot going on recently. Erik continues to work harder and harder at school and Denver continues to grow and amaze us every day with his fun personality and sweet spirit. I decided to quit my job a couple of weeks ago and I'm ready to see what it's like to be a full time stay at home mom. I love my baby and I'm so excited to get to spend time with him during the week and time with my whole family over the weekend.

Me and my buddy.

Denver's Halloween shirt.

My big big boy on the swing set! He was ready for his nap so he's a little grumpy looking, but I think he liked it.

First trip in the grocery cart at Costco! He looked like such a big boy and loved looking around.

Cute fall outfit I got him with his awesome nautical afghan his Aunt Jessame made him. I love the ears on the hood.

We got him a high chair recently and I love it because he can look around and watch me while I do dishes or cook. We have also started feeding him baby cereal so it's nice to have somewhere to put him to eat!

Hi mom!

He loves those feet.

We went for a walk up to the store one night and he fell asleep on me. I loved it! it was so cuddly and I haven't held him like this in months!

Some seriously awesome snuggles after that.

On a walk with Daddy. This is how he wanted to lay and eventually fell asleep in his Dad's arms.

Frankenstein jammies I got him for Halloween.

Happy boy in his stroller.

I put him in front of Winnie the Pooh one day and he loved it!

The best Opera singer in Corvallis!

Baby snuggles! I seriously don't get these that often but he slept on me and we snuggled for a long time a few days ago.

Sitting up all alone playing with toys.

Working on scooting.

Playing with his friend in the mirror.

This little man turned 5 months old! Again, tons of pictures because I couldn't pick a favorite!

At 5 months old I love laughing and playing. My Dad's beard makes me laugh so much and I love riding on his shoulders. I started eating cereal that makes me gag at first, but then I gobble it down and wonder where I can get more! I love exploring my world and like going on walks and looking around at everything. One of my favorite games is going to the store and feeling the different textures of everything mom can find especially the sheepskins at Costco. I have such curious little eyes. I give mom and dad huge smiles when they come and get me in the mornings. I don't like being in the backseat of the car by myself and will cry or squeal until someone comes and frees me from my prison! I love kisses and cuddles and tickles and hugs. I'm getting so big!

Playing on Dad's shoulders is the best!

Also I love soda cans!
